Branch Description
Network Funding offers two types of branch offices: one is a traditional branch office in a corporate location that will employ more than one loan originator and the Branch Manager will either originate loans and be compensated according to federal regulatory requirements or the manager will not originate loans but only manage the branch and be paid on a salary plus bonus. The branch office of a Branch Manager must be in compliance with FHA guidelines for a branch office including structure and location.
The second office type is a Senior Associate that will not manage a branch office but will manage a P&L account for the origination of mortgage loans. Often a Senior Associate may work from home and will be assigned to an existing branch office of Network. The Senior Associate may have one originator working from their branch and the Senior Associate is paid a commission on loans originated by the branch. When a Senior Associate hires more than one originator, their classification and office requirements are changed from those of a Senior Associate to those of a Branch Manager.
Such Branch Managers are classified as Regional Managers that manage more than one branch location where each branch location meets FHA guidelines and may house more than one originator. The branches controlled by a Regional Manager may have Branch Managers that produce and manage the office and are compensated accordingly.
Network also offers the opportunity to create Marketing Service Agreements with builders or real estate companies where Network serves as the Preferred Lender for the builder or real estate companies and may lease office space in their location or pay reasonable fees for advertising as the Preferred Lender.
Network also provides the opportunity to create Affiliated Business Associations with builders or real estate companies where the builder or real estate company and Network share ownership in an independent mortgage company managed by Network and providing mortgage services to the customers of the joint owners.
